Located in scenic Carlsbad, California, three miles from the Pacific Coast, Montecatini is an eating disorder treatment center for women ages 16 to 55. Providing comprehensive residential care for women with anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder, and other eating disorders, as well as co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, Montecatini is dedicated to helping you find your way to a life of healthier eating.
Since opening our doors in 1991, we have successfully treated hundreds of women with eating disorders. Our treatment philosophy focuses on walking alongside you as you begin your journey towards healing, and we believe that successful treatment requires you to be cared for as a whole person. Therefore, in the context of a positive, respectful, and culturally-sensitive environment, we employ holistic evidence-based methods to treat each woman’s individual mind, soul, and body.

Our program is structured to provide you with consistency, and our low client-to-staff ratio allows you to receive the personalized attention that will help set you on a path to lifelong recovery.
Additionally, your care does not end once you have completed our residential treatment. In the interest of helping you maximize your ability to recover successfully, we provide a full range of aftercare services, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming options. We begin discharge planning starting on your first day of admission to ensure that you are fully supported during your transition out of residential care and to help you step down from residential treatment to partial hospitalization to intensive outpatient care.
