Brooke Bellomio, PsyD

Assistant Clinical Director

Brooke is a Psychologist who has worked in mental health for the past 9 years, and specialized clinically with eating disorders and body image concerns for the past 7 years. Brooke received her doctorate degree from Antioch University in Seattle, WA in 2014 and has completed internships at university counseling centers and eating disorder treatment center settings working in a all different levels of care. Brooke’s approach is based primarily on principles related to CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy) and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy). She believes that although identifying and either accepting or changing thoughts is an important first step, that the real recovery happens from discovering ways to make changes in our lives and becoming an active participant in this change. Brooke is new to the San Diego area and moved here to be present with the ocean and sunshine which she feels helps to ground and connect her to nature and herself. Brooke also values humor, traveling, and living life in the present moment to its fullest.
