Kelly Soler, LCSW
Primary Therapist

Kelly received her Masters degree from the University of Hawaii, Manoa in 2014 in the field of Social Work. Here in Hawaii, Kelly also completed two years of internships at an intensive outpatient program for women with Eating Disorders. Kelly has been working with eating disorders since 2013. Prior tot his, she worked in the field of mental health since 2008 where she worked with homeless populations, crisis intervention, substance abuse and addictions, as well as athletes. Kelly comes to the field of eating disorders and Montecatini through her own recovery and personal experience. Kelly’s approach is based primarily on principles related to psychodynamic theory and the humanistic approach. Kelly believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. One of Kelly’s passions in the field of eating disorders is working with athletes, non-athletes, and individuals who have resistance to movement or any sort of activity. Kelly recently moved to Carlsbad from Honolulu, HI and enjoys spending time at the beach, with her two dogs. Kelly enjoys being outside, in nature, traveling, and being around her friends and family.

Adrianne DeRosa, CSCS
Physiologist

Ten years ago, Adrianne found herself helping her college friends who were struggling with eating disorders. She was frustrated that treatment centers weren’t acknowledging and incorporating exercise and exercise resistance into their programs. Montecatini built a Wellness Center to provide an atmosphere where clients could honor their bodies, discover joyful movement, challenge over-exercising and exercise avoidance. Adrianne DeRosa, Exercise Physiologist, works as part of Montecatini’s multi-disciplinary team. Montecatini understands that eating disorders create a disconnection in the mind and body. We believe that clients will heal this disconnection through the work they do in Montecacatini’s Wellness Center and Joyful Movement Program.

The Montecatini staff is great at what they do. Everyone there treated me with kindness and compassion, and I am so thankful for all they did for me.
