Jill Maher, LMFT
Jill has been working with adults, youth, and families effected by trauma and mental health issues for 14 years. She began at WEAVE as a domestic violence counselor and sexual assault response team advocate in Sacramento, and moved to San Francisco to pursue her master’s degree and career in 2006. Her most recent work at Family and Children Services of Silicon Valley as a program director included overseeing batterer’s intervention, parenting, child abuse prevention and victim services programming. She also served as consultant and therapist for the San Francisco 49ers on their player family prevention efforts on behalf of the agency. Additionally, she was providing therapy for highly acute patients on per diem basis at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View. She has been providing clinical supervision for over five years for trainees and interns across a variety of environments. A new San Diego resident, she enjoys hiking, cooking, tennis, traveling, and going to the beach with her family.
