Jenna Wheaton, AMFT
Jenna is an associate Marriage and Family Therapist, receiving her master’s degree from the University of San Diego in 2019. She completed her traineeship at UCSD CHEAR, gaining experience in the treatment of eating disorders and comorbid manifestations of distress. Jenna integrates various therapeutic modalities into her clinical work, including Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Bowen Family System Therapy, and depth psychology. Jenna celebrates the unique internal landscape of each of her clients, and is committed to assisting people on their journey into themselves. She is also passionate about promoting healing from intergenerational trauma within families, differentiation form societally held belief systems, integrating client-directed spirituality into treatment, and cultivating client’s self-compassion. In her free time, Jenna enjoys playing with her dog (Cookie), spending time with loved ones, being in nature, traveling, reading and writing.
