Dennis M. Ordas, MD

Dr. Ordas is native of San Diego, California. He obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University, his medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico, and did his psychiatric residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is certified by of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and practices medicine bilingually (English/Spanish). After eight years serving as a psychiatrist for the United States Army, he returned to his hometown and has worked in numerous capacities. This includes inpatient, outpatient, residential, drug and alcohol, administrative and forensic environments. Dr. Ordas is specializing in treating patients with eating disorders and related illnesses using a whole mind-body approach applied by a diverse team of experts. He incorporates his extensive background treating chemical dependency, psychosis, mood disorders, OCD, PTSD, panic, and other anxiety disorders.
